If you don't play for one day you will know, If you don't play for two days I will know, If you don't play for three days the whole world will know. Really golden words. Not only for musicians, it's true for student of any discipline. Thank you both for presenting such a great conversation.

Wow.. Such a wonderful conversation indeed.. With two legends of carnatic music..🙏 mam.. A small query.. Veena is such a divine instrument... But... I always wonder How do students of veena manage to carry their veena between their home and class or Guru's place on a regular basis.. Anyone please?..
@winniephy64 жыл бұрын
Coz..As I have seen some people who have dropped the idea of learning veena, just because it would be difficult to carry around..
@TheKarnaticTuber4 жыл бұрын
Vimala Students usually dont carry the Veena to class.. The gurus usually have multiple instruments for students to play during class..

Jayanthiji, I understand the only way to carry Veena with you on a flight is as oversized baggage. I wonder if you ever had issues of damage to the instruments, how do you deal with damages ahead of concerts and how temperature in flight, various countries affect the Veena? Please explain. Thank you

Sir, not all the teachers teach everything they have. There are many music teachers who teach others some way and teach their own kids in a different way. Very few teachers are genuine. That's you see many successful artists who are the siblings of music maestros.
