Madredeus is the name of the group. The singer is called Teresa Salgueiro. They were really amazing but split up a few years ago, unfortunately. O Pastor means the sheppard.

@@grumpyoldguyreacts Thank you very much for reacting to Portuguese music. You might consider an old singer António Variações which was very different from mainstream then and is still remembered. He was one of the first artists we knew to die due to AIDS complicarions.

If you really liked Madredeus, allow me to leave some suggestions for you to listen to if you want: 'Andorinha da Primavera', 'Não Muito Distante', 'Vaca de Fogo', 'Haja O Que Houver', are other excellent songs by Madredeus. And if you want to discover more great artists from Portugal, I recommend you: Amalia Rodrigues, Jorge Palma, Rui Veloso, Mariza, or the fantastic guitarist Carlos Paredes. @@leomedeiros3933 Thank you Leo for watching I really appreciate you. Thanks for the kind words. Yes I am looking for new artists all the time. I have reacted to Mariza and Dulce Ponce a couple times. I'm not as grumpy anymore, I retired a year ago and I am finding so much great music and artists. I don't drink any alcohol but I will have a Pepsi. Thanks again and take care.
