That transfer window look like ineos way then go back to glazers way. I think it’s a great free signing. He’s an 8 or defensive mid. He’ll know he’s not a starter if United get Ugarte but if not… I’ll take him over last years Casemiro. Kobbie and Rabiot is better than Kobbie and last years Casemiro. Or him being the first mid of the bench. And I’m sorry, but Collyer likely won’t get anywhere near Rabiots career. He looks promising but he’s nowhere close to how good Rabiot was at the same age. There’s space when Erickson and McSauce leave, as well as possibly still Casemiro.

What don’t people understand about player value v remaining contract length? McTominey has 11 months left and goes for free next summer. NO club pays more than £20m, especially as they know Utd want shot of him. People saying he’s worth £40m, but lambast Everton for wanting £70m for a player who’s 6 years younger and has 4 years left on his contract. Brighton just sold Gross to Dortmund for £8m; the reason being it is so low is that he has 1 year left on his contract and is 33. It’s all relative to what a player is worth…
