Can i ask a question so i have 1tb which is full of games i dont have a 1tb usb but have an 2.5 hdd 2tb can i plug in the 2tb using an sata to usb can i transfer like that asw

couldn't you use an sata usb cable on the new drive and do only one copy?

No, external hdds usa fat32 while the internals use exfat

Nice! I have 2x 2TB externals. 1 for OG and 1 for 360. Upgrading to a 2TB internal, as well, since XBLA and DLC have to be internal.

get a hard drive transfer cable plug your new hdd into your xbox transfer the files from old to new and put the new one in to save alot of time

gao nah, just pry open usb hdd and you will have sata ports here, if u need help just google

Not sure what the maximum is but I know for a fact that 1TB external drives work on stock (unmodded) xbox 360 with a dashboard from the past 1-2 years.

@@TheHeroicJunior They work as storage for video/pics/music. always have. pretty sure you can't install games to it. not sure about rgh box, but factory you needed the onboard drive and special firmware that you flashed to it maxed out to 250gb for phat and 320gb for slim, and only worked with certain models of certain brands, just like the original xbox. this is why if you want to format the drive it has you enter the serial number of the console first. but like i said, thats how it used to be. not sure now. maybe microsoft was nice and got rid of that bs since they let you install games to external drives on xbox one. i'll have to try that out. i just rgh mine for first time, so i'm learning.

Fala Anderson, beleza? Você conseguiu fazer com este procedimento? Eu estou para fazer um upgrade do HD interno de 250GB para um de 500GB e pelo visto então é só copiar todo o conteúdo usando o Aurora mesmo, né?... e depois sabe dizer porque ele troca os HDs e realiza novamente o procedimento?

​@@lcfredericocara não sei se você não resolveu esse problema nesses dois anos kkkkkk mas eu vou fazer esse procedimento em breve mas vou transferir primeiro todos os arquivos menos os jogos, aí depois eu transfiro só os jogos, creio que dessa forma dá pra ter certeza que os arquivos de sistema e Homebrew vão ser transferidos sem problemas e aí mando os jogos um por um pra ter menos chance de não ir

how on earth did you get the XEX menu in the xbox 360 game when the drive is a new drive? When i copied into my USB, it still routing directing to the hard disk.
