I would just like to say two things. I am a wheelchair user and I think this is fucking hilarious. The other thing I would like to say is that she's right about the helping thing, if you ask me because you can clearly see I'm struggling I would love for you to help me. When someone just comes up behind you and starts pushing you somewhere it's really quite intrusive and I don't appreciate when people do it although I'm usually rather kind about it. My friends and family know that it's a definite No No I though. as she said, how would you like it if someone just came up from behind you and pushed you up a curb without asking?

Literally almost the exact same situation, there's this blind woman who attends the same college I do (she's very pretty not that that has anything to do with this story) and she was trying to board her bus to go home via public transportation which we both happen to take and she is bumping into the back door (where people exit) and I tried to help her to the front (I asked first) and she said "I'm okay, thank you anyway" she continued to bump into the bus for about 20-30 seconds longer and I tried to insist yet again and she snapped on me "SIR I said I'm FINE! If I needed your help I would have asked!" And so I boarded the bus and sat there watching as she took another 1-2 minutes to enter and get her seat in the bus.
