.... Meanwhile, it's being revealed by insiders that, purportedly, Oprah actually does own thousands of people, including child slaves, and hangs out with devil worshipers.

Anybody notice the tr@nnys in hellyweird reference in the eddie murphy skit in the beginning? I bet there's hidden references all over this show. They knew even back then. Had to rub elbows with these people & hear the rumors in the dressing room.

We had the opportunity to meet Deborah Wilson in Spokane valley Washington as she was filming for z Nation at the time. She was the only one other than the doc that took their time to come out and sign autographs and be personable. Deborah Wilson rocks!

Susan Surandon, living screen legend, never did SNL but did make 4 or 5 appearances on madtv. I think that's pretty cool

To be fair, SNL was stepping it up around this time: Will Ferrell, Cheri Oteri, Molly Shannon, Chris Kattan, Tim Meadows... but this always felt more edgy & "dangerous" for sure.

My son and I watched it together too. Right after Stuart.and Doreen sketches I could imitate the mom perfectly and Thomas would do Stuart and we would do little sketches and laugh our asses off. He was just 12 or so. Good times we loved this show.

SNL needs better writers. When they have good writers it can still be great. Like Julio Torres who wrote "Papyrus" with Ryan Gosling. And whoever wrote "World's most evil invention" with the Rock. That sketch with the Rock was kinda shocking to come out of SNL
