I love it when people come on videos like this & say, “I’m British (or xyz Nationality) & this is a terrible accent!”. I mean, seriously? 😅 It’s a four minute sketch from a once a week, half hour comedy show. Do you expect the actors to take months of lessons to learn an accent for that? Get over it & enjoy the humor of it! If it was a major movie or something that would be understandable but this? If I criticized every sketch or tv show for every time someone spoke with a terrible Southern accent I’d never be able to enjoy anything. Lol, lighten up & appreciate their effort! 😉

I've heard that actual British people thought Julie Andrew's (as Mary Poppins) had the worst, most affected British accent. Its like, the epitome of fake. (According to the British guys I talked to). When I try to do the accent, I sound pretty much like her - and I think I do pretty good. So I was trying to "show off" to these British guys by doing it. I thought it was a compliment when they said I sounded like Mary Poppins. Then they proceeded to tell me it was NOT meant as a good thing, lol.. Whatever. They're lame, Lmao
@ultron3000016 жыл бұрын
here's the thing about comedy: nothing is off limits. IF you're watching this and you're getting a good laugh, then that means one of two things: 1) you're mexican (or of mexican descent) and are not sensitive. 2) NOT mexican in any form BUT able to laugh at your own race, religion or group. NOTHING is off limits when it comes to comedy.
