People think it’s no big deal but it can literally cause fatal caffeine poisoning if given to a child under age 10. But then again you gotta remember, it was the 90s, and nobody gave a fuck about kids back then.

Jennette mentions creepy actions by "The Creator" she calls him. We all know who it is. Dan Schinder. He's trash. He's a pedifile, a pervert, and a abuser. Why doesn't she mention his name? I theorize this: 1. It's too hard for her, too traumatic. 2. He has a lot of power. Jennete said she wants to write and direct, BUT...she could get blacklisted for speaking out.

So much of her acting career was her acting out her own trauma. Sadistic freak Dan Schneider added a lot of things that mirror her real life into i-Carly and made her act it out too.

Jennette is so little in this episode. Reading her book that describes this scene, I'm amazed she remembers so much about it. Such an aware person in a little child.
@pamelathomas312 Жыл бұрын
I think the parts where she is talking about being younger are from her journal she had at that age. I may be wrong though. It is surprising either way I agree! It’s hard to remember trauma sometimes because your brain wants to suppress it or get rid of the memory to protect you as a defense mechanism. Usually there’s a lot of things missing from your childhood when you’re abused or mistreated or have trauma and I’m assuming there probably is some things missing from her memories! But if this isn’t from some kind of journal or diary of hers when she was the ages that she describes so vividly that’s incredible. It’s already incredible what she went through and has overcome but that’s such a big part of healing and can be a missing piece sometimes when the reasons you act the way you do come from memories that your brain won’t let you remember to start understanding. That’s literally the first step but the brain doesn’t want to let go of it and let you remember because of how bad it started to hurt you at the time it was happening. You may even have “memories” that aren’t real like things people told you happened and your brain may fill that hole that was taken out because of trauma and fill it with a fake memory and you think you’re getting closure and understanding but it’s not real. It’s such a complex complicated thing to have a traumatic childhood. I’m so happy for her she has been able to look back and see where things started and why and has healed a lot of what made her hate herself and be unkind to her body and mind.

@@pamelathomas312 I'm sure being able to have parts of your life immortalized on video helps a person to remember the time and thought process but... Speaking as a person who has a narc parent, it's hard to NOT be aware as a kid. As soon as you're unaware, it bites you. So having to be aware of everything all the time becomes your default setting. It's a compliment, but also not.

You re here probably because read Jennette 's book. But if you're also a child of a narcissistic parent, understand this, even if they are still alive, they are in fact already dead. Jeannette's mother was just an animated body. Like all narcissists, they went through a trauma/abuse so intense ,usually during their own childhood,that in that very day a fuse blew inside their psyche and they died. It's a hard and bizarre concept to grasp. Because you see them moving, they grow up,have jobs, raise families, but they ARE ALREADY LONG TIME AGO DEAD! Because they are dead, they don't see it as an abuse all the pain they inflict even to their own children. They were not there, you were not there, therefore in their mind the abuse never existed. Ask any still alive, abusive parent of a grown up adult, if they think they did anything wrong... They will swear for dear life they didn't, blame shift, gaslight, etc. It's been 8 years I went no contact with my mother, (I'm 37, she is 62)for a boundary I had to impose. And it was a rather simple boundary,to apologize for the hurt she has done in a particular occasion I did not performed a way she expected me to. 8 years, three grandchildren of hers later, to this day she never apologized. Don't get me wrong. I ain't expecting an apology. When I set the boundary I knew little to nothing about narcissism, a topic I started studying 4 years ago. Then I saw the setting the boundary was the right thing to do and going no contact is the only way towards healing oneself. Healing you. Not the narcissist. You can't heal the dead,even when they are still alive.
