For those who have jumpy mouse, camera snaps etc, when you turn with mouse, turn "Sky Type" in Display options, to Simple from Complex. Now you'll be able to turn around without turning around in random directions.

also recharging an item that has been depleted, if the item isn't lore you can recharge a depleted item at any merchant that doesn't have a full inventory. It requires you having 2 of the item, a good example would be Ring of Shadows, sell the fully charged item FIRST, then sell the depleted item, you can then buy both back fully charged.

How do you know if the merchant inventory is full?

@@erstam I think it's 40 items, if they have less than 40 items for sale then they have room to buy one and have it be bought back

Can also do lore items with 2 accounts

The memories of that game are unparalleled in my brain. Soooo many amazing memories and stories to share and tell when I get in touch with an old guild mate or friend. Also the only game where I forged real, lasting friendships that transferred to RL

If you set your frames to 30-35 instead you can jump up tall ledges out of water.

Tip #20 - /copylayout works better for me. I just type that and it brings up all the characters and what window mode they have. Then I just select that, it asks me if I want to do it, click yes, and in a few seconds, it is all copied over.

On the gamma just go to display settings after closing game and it should auto reset itself. Least mine does in win 10

Go to your Eq folder and find your EQclient folder and change your resolution to whatever size your monitor is

I'm trying to get back into EQ and am pulling my hair out trying to get p99 to run. I play my main on steam and boxs on normal sign in but kinda not enjoying regular EQ and want to play p99. I've followed your video on download and install but it still doesn't work. I cant locate the launcher even quick search dosen't locat it on the PC but the regular launcher it there but I know not to click on it.

Just found another explanation. Joe says it doesn't work on (Teal/Green). It might be because the game on the Green server isn't at the patch level needed to support it yet until maybe the Velious expac is unlocked.

Dex increases your weapon proc chance and think it helps with fizzles or getting spells interrupted.. Agi just increases AC as far as i remember

other then the FPS for smooth mouse control I knew every damn tip on here.... these are not secrets that BRAD did not want us to know please don't be a click bait. these are tips most veterans learned over 15 years ago.. Newbs play in 3rd person... 1st person is where it's at fellas. 3rd person camera controls suck, they are very slow and clunky to use. Best to get used to 1st person gameplay IMO.

One example came to mind after three seconds: Try banking KOS without using 3rd person. Enjoy your CR.

@@BobThePlayer I think that's the only time I use 3rd person. Which isn't often as I don't sit at the bank for the entirety of my playtime. And there isn't a banker in the game that will kill my char so not really worried(or guards, for that matter). FD helps here too. It's good to point out that the use of 3rd person as you mentioned works, but it's obviously an exploit as you need no LOS to make this work...

I honestly played exclusively in 1st person when it originally came out because I never realized there was actually a 3rd person camera. Nothing gets you more immersed and a bit on edge than running around in 1st person and always on the lookout for anyone (was on a pvp server at the time as well).
