i think a fight with maestro going all out would be too much, he's literally one of the strongest characters in lore, if he goes all out with his funny eye thing, he's dodging everything and easily dogging any lvl 20 no diff, i think him going at like, 60% to 50% (without eye shit) would be fair Edit: the new update proved my point

The thing with the new weapon is that what makes it unique is that it's supposed to be essentially a medium fist style. that's what makes it unique and different from other regular medium weapons. If you want to freely swing a sword you can just equip a shattered katana or any other sword. I do like the harder bossfight that locks your slot in, but i think the reward should be something else.

Lore claims that Maestro can beat Lord Regent on his alone and does not require the assistance of anybody else. But the main concern is what occurs after; the Authority will boss raid etrea, and maestro claimed he can't take the entire army by himself, but if etrea proves powerful enough, he would immediately slay Lord Regent.

I believe it should work like lft but with stances, and that you cant use it still to its fullest. Like you get to use it for m1s like a rifle switching in and out. And you need to land enough hits for you to even use it

honestly the hardest part would be making full power maestro a difficult fight. every pve event in this entire game is just easy, besides completing all waves of diluvian (which also is easy if u dedicate 5 people with dedicated builds for it), which is only difficult because of mob spam, not any difficult mechanics or anything.

​@@frawstey281It is possible, because Maestro is a human NPC that actually fights like a human. No free hits, he will actually block parry and dodge. That means less reliance on raw HP and damage, and more on block parry dodge, similar to actual players and other humanoid npcs.

I think it's pretty cool to have a blade so powerful you can only use it on crit. Being able to use it on base m1s it would have to be nerfed, and that would take away the magic of it being an extremely powerful weapon.

big disagree on unsheathing the sword. the fact its a sword you only unsheathe during the critical makes it the most unique sword in the entire game. way cooler then the shattered katana 2.0 it could had been unsheathed, imo. plz dont let us unsheathe the sword devs, it'd be such a letdown to have a "superior version" of this already masterful weapon.

Like, while it's unsheathed, it rapidly drains your health, but it does greatsword damage and has a critical like the close-ranged hundred slashes move maestro does.

I think it will be cool join authority for lord regent invasion and get diffrent weapon for defeating trainer in authority but you can't train with maestro(basically diffrent route) i think brutus could be trainer?

Honestly, I feel like with where they're taking things and how lore is now somewhat progressing. I think it'd be cool if they kept this theme of weapons from maestro can't be used to their fullest due to some soul in the blade. Because then that would allow us to be able to have a cooler moment in the hopefully upcoming lord regent boss fight. Since every person will have Heavy, Medium, or Light (rip Hero Sword and LFT users) and therefore have this weapon, there could be a moment where in the first phase where it's a guaranteed loss, BUT then a sick ass cutscene plays where your sword talks to you (since they could all have souls), making some type of deeper pact or something that would allow you to call their name and use it in all it's full power to defeat the regent. Not only would this whole sequence of events just be cool but at them same time, it'd add more gameplay ability cause down the line it could be an ability or something where you use the normal version of the weapon and then changing stances goes to the full potential which gives you lets say, a measly 10%-15% heal. Although implementing this would require a crap ton off proper balances and definitely some type off mode bar for said weapons so it's not just spammable heals, or maybe they could just make it so the second, full power stance can't be put to rest until the fight is over or you die.

I like the suggestions about the 3 new weapons having to take down regent, though as much this would be sick and im 100% rooting for this concept the devs 9/10 will just neglect this idea due to the fact theyd prolly make the regent fight a main staple of late game progression and would be unfair for builds that dont revolve around the 3 weapons to yknow miss out on the fight. though i 100% fuck with the idea and hope it comes out

buddy curved requires medium and gale, you can even go 100 medium, matter of fact, the scaling used to have more medium than gale which is the worst scaling on all legendary weps (it didn't become so well, they just made it 5 med 5 gale)

Don't let bro cook. The sword being used without the sheath is a unique mechanic that I quite enjoy. Also a boss that would be that hard that is required to do a huge questline and a huge part of content would lock out a lot of players that have a skill issue.
