I agree. I hope she has a happy ending. But let’s read between the lines here- I think Mallory (who’s probably still working with Butcher) will weaponize Soldier Boy to de-power the supes. This would explain why she’s so opposed to a virus that could wipe them all out. But what if it turns out the de-powering is only temporary? That could lead to some kind of supe uprising after they’ve all been subjugated and Maeve would need to return.

I have a theory about Meave and Soldier Boy when they fell off the tower. I believe that Soldier Boy threw her behind his back so that she wouldn't be hit by a nuclear explosion. I think he had respect for her for being the only one who kept her word and wanted to kill Homlander. I don't know to what extent and if it has completely lost its power... In my opinion, she regenerates and V stayed in her veins. If she didn't have it anymore, she wouldn't have survived the fall from such a height. In my opinion, Soldier Boy was getting stronger with each blast, and maybe every day without inhaling the gas with which they were freezing him, he weakened him and needed time to get it out. Butcher and Homlander were banging hard, and in the last episode of Soldier Boy, he destroyed Butcher. You could see a huge advantage not only in training, but also in strength... In my opinion, Soldier Boy will come back when Meave regains his power and tries to free him. I think Homlander will find out that she is alive and kill her love. He will kill her in front of Meave and leave her alive to live with it. Then Meave will somehow combine the C-V and regain power. He will find out about Soldier Boy and free him. I think that both of them will not survive the clash, and certainly one of them.

Something could've cushioned her fall. The fact she had powers and was highly durable kept her from being vaporized and rather just wiped of her powers like what happened with Kimiko. Soldier Boy's old team were older and clearly not as powerful so them getting vaporized made sense somewhat.

If I want the next opening scene of season 4 to be really fked up, I’d make it about Elena and Maeve. The scene starts with the shot of the inside of a completely totaled house on a farm. There were signs of superhuman struggle. Traces of blood on the wall. Everything is ether in pieces or on fire. The camera slowly reveals the body of Elena in one room and her head in the next. You hear heavy panting and sounds of pain. It’s powerless, beaten up Maeve barely able to sit up. Standing over her is Homelander, drenched in blood. He goads about all this and beheads her after some more verbal exchanges. Then insert title card.

Well done LGBTQ scene. I like this one. The other 99.9% of them on TV, including the commercials feel too forcefully propagandistic, especially the commercials over representing them and others to laughable and now trope like proportions. Didn't like this scene, should've killed her off. Would've been more fitting. The screenwriters are just really f bad at giving any sense of danger or fear of conqequences. It feels like every time the main characters do something crazy, a moment later everything gets reverted and everything's fine. We just jump from 1 plot to the next without resolving the previous ones properly. S2 ending was the same. This show is fun and the acting is great, but not enough people point out the abbysmal writing.
