The chaps i fish with are good fun and we all get on like a house on fire even when the weather is diabolical its not hard for us to make light of anything. I was very lucky to get my fish and well chuffed with that result beating Dave was a bonus 🤣👍

Its a good lake but lacking in pretty much everything except a toilet which there are only two so its a bit "drive and survive" sort of place if you've never been before, Good Luck Lee I would go again but is a bugger of a drive! Only a matter of time for Clear water mate 👍👍

Well June, Ill except that LOL 🤣 , conditions were good for the fish for sure, when we got there we could see lots of signs of fish showing all over the lake but it just dropped right off as soon as it got busy and the other lads turned up..... cheers 🍻😁

Paul I did like the place to be honest not really bothered about the bailiffs they are just keeping the unwanted away I bumped into the owner (Nick) while I was there and they have had big trouble in the past with large groups.... understandable why they would be keen to keep an eye on us. 👀 Its just one hell of a trek there and back so not for a quick weekend session. would go back given the time. is that your neck of the woods Paul? soooo many lakes to choose from it seems 👍

@@MaffTUK I never liked the bailiffs being on mate, I thought it was taking the mick, if you hire out a lake it shouldn't come with occupied swims, I've no problem with bailiffs being on site 24/7 but not fishing and not when you're paying over a grand for exclusive use for the weekend, apart from that it's a great water👍🎣😁

Firstly Ash thanks for the kind words, Loc Awe is a good pike fishing lake met a chap fishing there a few years back he was on the bank looking at the castle, not sure if your fishing or camping there are some bargain fishing sleeping bags for bed chairs so you can simply by a big one put one inside the other which is what i do. or something like this www.fishtec.co.uk/shop.cfm/carp-and-specialist/fishing-sleeping-bags/40/6031 (its all about your budget as you know) you dont need to spend hundreds on a sleeping bag My winter inner bag is a hardwear £20 bag! But as for a good bargain sleeping bag for camping have a look at this one www.mountainwarehouse.com/summit-250-sleeping-bag-xl-p18465.aspx/mustard/ 3-4 season I bought this one not so long ago (used in the vid "Shooter") if you ad an inner thermal liner www.mountainwarehouse.com/thermal-mummy-sleeping-bag-liner-p14461.aspx/black/ it will not only keep your bag clean but add a bit of warmth too, as for the money its a good deal Not sure how much sleeping out you've done in winter so forgive me if I'm teaching you how to suck eggs but:- have a complete set of dry gear including socks hat and some thin woollen gloves for sleeping in only, that way no damp sweaty garments will be inside your bag and you will be toasty warm if your under a tarp and exposed to the wind you will need a bivi bag hope that helps, regards Matt
