I have only heard one other person tell a story like that regarding the children my Uncle was Marine during Vietnam. When he was older and he was close to his passing he would have dreams Night mares and he would tell us about the children he killed that he could never get out of his head. Vietnam really messed him up badly but he dealt with it in his own way ( drugs and drinking) to silence the mental pain. However he could never get over the killing of kids because he had kids of his own and that amongst other things really caused him PTSD. Thank you to all that served

The Cambodia campaign was mainly the U.S BOMBING THE FUCK out of Cambodia, while the South Vietnamese led ground operations. So if he was involved in Cambodia that's around the time of Operation Fish Hook time frame, spring / summer of 1970. We had a lot of soldiers involved and killed a lot of people, offically 11k "combatants", but its definitely higher. Only way he's killing that many people in that time frame is this he was involved with war crimes.
