Yup, loved the first Mafia, but that racing mission... I remember trying it so so many times.. I'm completely with you, and did not even know there was a remake... Thank you for talking about it! (probably gonna buy it)

I really want this. I just love Mafia movies and games. My favorite movie of all time is Goodfellas.

I loved it too. The gunplay could've been better. It was the only aspect that was worse than mafia 3 The driving is the absolute best you'll find outside of the racing genre. Same was true about mafia 3. I play racing sims religiously and while obviously this isn't a sim, it's amazing how realistically cars do handle in this. It nails aspects of vehicle dynamics that even the forza series has failed to properly represent in a game. The only thing that holds it back is that it's 1930s cars mostly. Also the reflections in this game are the best I've seen. They're like ray tracing and definitely not screen space. It's super cool. Awesome weather effects too just like mafia 3 Of course the story is awesome too. I loved it. I think it had a much better story than mafia 2 tbh or at least much better characters. I have a lot of hope for hangar 13 and the mafia series now

Well, driving in this game is actually really good. Much better than in GTA series. Cars behave very naturally, grip gain/loss with slip angle and load changes is really progressive and it has much better suspension physics than most of modern racing games.

you know when the race car flipped over? that was my first experience with it, that with it driving like a brick made it almost impossible to win the race yeah thanks for making me do that guys, and letting me know after the fact that I might get clipped if I lost 5:32 you have a point, I mean the version in the collection is a remake rather than a remaster and there's enough of an excuse to update it even if it's just in DLC form 12:53 he shot me in the d!ck, why? why did he shoot me in the d!ck?

I watched some of the early cutscenes and I noticed that some of the dialogue was changed from the original. Is that commonplace throughout the game or did they try to keep the scripts close to the original?

I love you, but even though you take the time to spell out the word "especially" in the top left corner, you constantly mispronounce it as "expecially". It's not a dialect thing. It's not an accent thing. It's just incorrect. It's like "irregardless", "prentzel", or "reraser". Sorry. It's bothered me for years. I held my tongue until you drew attention to it. I hold journalists to a higher linguistic standard than everyone else, as they are supposed to be 'wordsmiths' of a sort. So, I finally had to say something. STILL LOVE YOU! Byeeeeeeee.
