There is. You just need to drive down the coast to a place called Nyamisati and take a ferry from there.

As a solo traveler would you rather choose Mafia or Pemba island if it had to be one?

It really depends on what you want, Pemba is a bit more developed and great for snorkelling and diving Mafia on the other hand is very rural and great for whale sharks I really enjoyed both

Nice aereal shots !! I've read that you need a permit and a flying licence to bring your drone in Tanzania; did the autorithies ask any of these to you ? I'm landing over there in a month :)

Honestly they didn’t ask me but I’d still recommend going with all the paperwork and not get into trouble and ruin your holiday with police station visits 😊

Price for? In general Mafia was much cheaper compared to other places in Tanzania provided you don’t stay inside the marine park
