I'M SO HAPPY that I made it back to the incredible East African nation of TANZANIA! My previous (and only) visit here was back in Jan 2018, where I only visited the island of Zanzibar. But I really missed out because the people, culture, food and nature on the mainland is just about as good as you can find anywhere on this planet.
My friends at Qatar Airways reached out and offered to fly me and Deanna on business class to Tanzania, and we couldn't say no! I've never had a better flying experience in my life... and Tanzania was just amazing! We began our trip in Arusha, then went to Ngorongoro Conservation area before heading deep into the Serengeti for 3 nights and finally ending in a town called Moshi. Tanzania is a phenomenal country inside and out, and I can't wait to show you more of this country over the coming 2 weeks!

Drew, so glad you made it to the country that is STILL in my heart! I lived there as a missionary from 2000-2005. I still keep in contact with my friends there. I still speak KiSwahili too, ha ha. We lived in Mwanza which is the second largest city there and at the bottom of Lake Victoria. The lake has fresh tilapia they line up on the grills for less than $2 a fish!!!!!!

Absolutely the most beautiful video.. When my sister passed from Covid a month ago, she was --in her delirium, minutes before passing, she was smiling and saying she was floating over the forest in Tanzania; where she had been a few years before. I am now sure she passed in peace; the hot air balloon part of the video must be what she "felt" or experienced, I didn't go with her so I don't know. Indeed, it was the most beautiful way to leave this Earth. Keep it up! You touch lives in more ways than you can imagine. Thanks for the joy and healing to our loss.

I love Tanzania, it started with me doing a school project that i got to really know about the place, that know body wanted to learn about in my class. Because i wasnt there that day so I got to pick the last Country . I suddenly loved the county and always wanted to go. Then finally at 31 years I finally got to go. It was so nice and I will always remember it. By the nice people and amazing animals, and cities

Yes we are proud of our paradise, sun kissed Africa! I always feel sad for many Eritreans, Somalians and west Africans that are risking their lives by leaving Africa in rickety boats to go to cold unfriendly countries that doesn't even want them there. When they finally get there they realise that they left paradise behind and vow to go back as soon as possible

@@zedianerkatwishi3930 you read my mind. I’m one of those Eritreans who left the country due to political issues when I was 18 and stayed in Ethiopia refugee camp for a year and came to USA in 2005. As African I can definitely say life’s way better in Africa than USA. I used to feel alive when I was in Africa. In usa, we are like prisoners. We don’t even know what the meaning of life’s anymore. Stress and depression is normal due to the life’s demand in the western. Africa is definitely heaven and I hope I will be back one day. And I wish African countries get some good leadership and that’s the only way we Africans can live and enjoy life in Africa.

Drew this is some of the most beautiful footage you've captured. The shots of the giraffe with its tongue out and the cheetah close-up during the intro sequence were both strong in quality and it brought me into the wildlife of Tanzania.
