Me too and the reason is that James was the only one that was not standing accusing Jeremy, and he was wearing a blue suit and we associate blue with cops (not to mention it was different from the others). Jeremy was also wearing a blue suit, but since at first we associated him with the snitch, we also associated the blue suit with the snitch. Of course the ending with Jeremy being a mafia guy isn't believable anyway.
