probably to highlight the english in it.... cheaper to keep the original song than create a new song... did you even watch the clip? .... songs aren't cheap to produce.... and most english covers don't stress what is being portrayed in the song. They just don't have the same deep feeling in them and also loose translation to what is actually being said.... and many fans actually stress to keep the original than making a dub of a song

Fr, I can’t watch subbed anime cause of my dyslexia, so watching this I was like “cool, but what is he saying” they didn’t even give us subtitles for the song. I was just confused

For thise who didint know, Yuki means snow, and Mafyuu means winter, snow cant exist without winter, but winter can exist without snow. Just as mafyuu has to continue on without Yuki 🫡😢

I absolutely love Shogo Yano as Mafuyu and his singing voice was exactly how I imaged Mafuyu to sound. But after listening to Brandon McInnis's cover for this song, I really wish that they had had him do an English version of Fuyu no Hanashi in the dub of the anime. It would have been perfection.

cheaper to keep the song in it as they already paid for the song, than having to pay for 2 songs... to keep costs down, it's better to keep the original song in it. 99% of anime dubs keep the original JP songs.... including the most loved like FMA/FMAB...why pay for 2 songs than you don't need to?
