Thanks for this video, thanks to it I could see all that is horrible about this turntable with my very own eyes!

Please let me understand: high tech magnetic levitation coupled to a dumb portable drill noisy motor? I can't believe..

When I saw this on kickstarter I was intrigued. Seeing the wobbling platter I'm less so. I guess its the ultimate decoupling from anything mechanical as far as the platter goes. That said the tone arm is on a non-suspended plinth coupled to the room through 4 compliant feet. Seems like they've went to a lot of trouble to de-couple the platter only to couple the tonearm which is literally a sound pick-up device itself. I'd like to see a floating tonearm too which if it's slight wobble matched the platter would in effect cancel the wobble. A nice idea that as a novelty is great, but I'm guessing that ridged tonearm and wobbling platter could be transferring some sounds of their own?

That wobble is going to drive any Type A nuts and that's exactly the demographic who might be interested in buying this. I wondered why they didn't have any videos on their web site and this is probably the reason.

Is there any specs/measurements for wow and flutter, tracking etc available for this table? I could imagine the rumble being quite low but it wouldn't suprise me if the wow and flutter speed accuracy was well less than perfect. Also, it looks like the platter is wobbling quite a bit up and down (more than a warped record would). Aside from that, it's seems that this would be quite a dangerous device. What would happen if you were to get close with a metallic/magnetic object? Or if you got your hand stuck in that thing? It looks cool though, but I can't see how it would sound/measure (if something measures well it sounds good) better than let's say conventional direct drive such as a Technics.

A really really cool proof of concept, I can see how magnets will remove any external interference but the wobble seems way to severe and the drill noises and wait time are too long for this to be practical. Also I assume that the magnets probably interfere with moving magnet cartridges, either way, really cool hopefully one day this can be perfected.

I’m surprised that the platter’s motorized pillars aren’t quiet. Sounds way too loud. I realize that those are tucked away obviously during playback but for the price of this thing they should be silent.

This is awful, I was expecting something silky, instead it looks like a toy thing about to come apart. That wobble on the platter will cause the needle to wear the records unevenly. Not to mention, as it powered up and started, my beard grew from waiting so long.

If I was into wobbling platers this table would be for me, but I'm not.

Probably a compilation. "Don't Let Me Down" in the single version was never on a full album.

😂🤣😂 Look at all that wobble! 🤣😂🤣 I wouldn’t accept that in my 47 year old Technics SL-23 let alone in a $5000 player. RIDICULOUS! 🤦🏻♂️
