I’ve been leaning more independent since really listening to people like the Bulwark. There are so many valid ideas coming from true conservatives. Mike Dewine is protecting the political future of his children. Despite his pride in his Catholic faith, he can't see/defend the big picture. He's selfish. He did a pretty good job with Covid until masking came up. Took a strong, passionate position the first day and COMPLETELY caved to his friends/political pressure within 24 hours. It was sickening to watch in real time. Caused many naive Ohioans to suffer and die. I live in Yellow Springs, Ohio where Mike raised his kids. He is not a favorite son here. Folks see him for who he is. We're glad he's going about 60% the distance for the Haitian immigrants and all of Springfield but that last 40%, endorsing Trump/Vance, is so very harmful. Pushing the way forward relentlessly with never ending persistence, but with peaceful challenge. He really was a great man. Mark Robinson is not that. Mark Robinson’s boss - the governor - wouldn’t pursue the VP slot because he knew Robinson would wreak havoc while he was away campaigning. There’s just no comparison between those 2 men!
