I love this island... Very laid back and family friendly.. the grooves are amazing with all the fossils, several buildings with the quarried stone and you'll find the fossils in them❤❤

My buddies family has a vacation home there and we went out a few years ago while we were living in Pittsburgh, PA and Kelly's Island is fun. Lots of people partying every night. My dogs loved it. We went out to the bars at night and went fishing most of the days we were there. Is it the Walleye that is popular there? Can't remember.

Thanks! Unfortunately I don’t know the hotel situation because we were in a campground in our camper, but I saw several places on Kelleys and the mainland area by Marblehead and Sandusky had plenty too.

The golf carts. Oh, my god, the golf carts. The smell, noise. So freaking loud and bumper to bumper across the whole island. My wife and I prefer walking and we literally could not carry on a conversation for the mile and a half from downtown to the glacial grooves.
