Mages Rage Comparison Before vs After New Patch | Outriders Worldslayer

Here is a comparison of the Mage's Rage Mod Before vs After the New Patch. The build is exactly the same and the difference in damage really shows. It's not a nerf I am sure. It's just a fix as the mod was giving way too much damage.

In my opinion with this test you should have used the same guns for both before and after tests however it is interesting to see how much the numbers changed.

The only way I'm using mages rages is if it rolls on the 3rd slot as an anomaly techno build. Otherwise it's D. ROCKETS and Omen

It wasn't even broken if used alone. The combination made it go bonkers. Problem is... They nerfed status Power. That's where the nerf comes from. My dmg numbers are nearly the same but with a difference in 25-30%. Because that's what I lost from Statuspower.

@@IzanagiO Yes but no, they fixed the Malus for Status Power you should have gotten from playing on Higher Apocalypse Tiers, which wasn't correctly applied, or even buffed your SP instead of reducing it, but not sure about the Formula, since SP seems to get a way higher Malus than stated in the corresponding Apo Tier Description.

Forget what they did to Mages Rage! They did a STEALTH NERF TO STATUS POWER!!! I lost 2/3 of my STATUS POWER and have no idea why!!! ???? It destroyed my Techmonger build!!!!!

It wasn't a "stealth nerf". It is in the patch notes. What was supposed to happen is, the higher your apocalypse tier, the lower your status power gets. It is one of the stats that gets lowered to make higher difficulties tougher. What was actually happening is that, instead of lowering your status power, it was somehow getting multiplied. They "fixed" it so now it properly decreases instead of increases. Not saying I agree with the change, but rather just clarifying what happened.

Thank you for the explanation with all the reading I must of missed this but I can tell you it is a HUGE NERF!!! The amount of damage my turret Techmonger build can do was more than cut in half!!!!! It’s INSANE!!! I could care less about all the other bullshit they did with this waste of an update. I can assure you that when people realize what happened with status power this will definitely become a huge issue

@@martyluterman965 oh yeah, definitely. I'm lucky now because for some reason my status power only dropped from about 260% down to 243%. I'm also only tier 31. Some people are reporting that they went from around 300% down to 160% at higher tiers. It is definitely a big change.

@@CouchGuy19 GAME CHANGING MASSIVE CHANGE !! It effects your overall damage output drastically!! Think about what status power does, let’s just focus on my freeze from cryo turrets, the higher your SP % the longer the enemy is frozen, the more damage I’m able to do to that single enemy. Well than multiple that to every enemy you engage with, you see where this is going?? If you have any kind of AP build relying on status effects YOU ARE FUCKED!!
