You can ink the white side with a ink pad just buff it in if you didn’t want the white :) or even heat emboss what’s actually going to show in gold :)

These are adorable....I love the gold straws and haven't been able to find any so I sometimes use cake pop sticks from the cake decorating section at michaels or joanns , they're thin and white and can be wrapped with washi, painted with paint pens or paint and they cut down easily. I use them for things like smaller wands or just smaller projects in general. They can't be squished like straws but adhere easily with hot glue or a glue dot.
