Still a wonderful song to listen to in repeat. How I miss listening to the radio late at night waiting for songs like this to play so that I could record them on a cassette and then have my quality playlist. There was something magic that got lost on the way. I feel that the more we evolute, the more we quickly lose innocence and appreciation for simple things like listening to a good song with the heart and not with the ears.

@@Eurician Have to disagree on that. I love fast tunes, especially dance music, and I even like Cascada's version of this. But Maggie's original is perfect as is. Recently i found out this song and since then, it completely stuck with me, this chorus is heavenly but after hearing the whole song, this woman's voice is just magnificent, it's so beautiful and i see her whole presence matches the voice. Such a beautiful song, so romantic and without innuendos, maybe that's why as i read didn't had success, it is just music but unfortunately, not everyone focuses on the music. If you focus on the music, it definitely checks all the boxes, superb song which i really really love, it isn't only catchy, this song is great from top to bottom, I'm not sad i haven't found this song earlier, I'm happy that i found it 👍

Her voice rings like a gentle bell. Never knew the singer, but have heard this song many time, as well as Moonlight Shadow. Always wondered who the singer was. Thanks to the Internet - now I know!

There's something magical about this song, a time of purity, innocence and bliss. It transports me to another world. A world that was within our reach till the end of 90s, but now has evaporated into nothingness. The world we have now is unrecognizable, scary and devoid of all hope.
@Jason66HH2 Жыл бұрын
I would not have thought that there is someone else who also associates the word bliss with this song. For me, this melody was and is one of the most beautiful and magical in the entire pop music scene and remains forever unforgotten and unmatched.

Same here. Exactly the same... I think it is the ethereal, upbeat rhythms and the energetic high pitch inflections, aside from the lyrics proper

A shooting star fell down to earth Lightning cracked the sky Something weird is happening Something I can't deny A strange kind of magic Running through my brain Feel I'm in heaven Or going insane 'Cause everytime we touch I get this feeling And everytime we kiss I swear I could fly Can't you feel my heart beat fast I want this to last Need you by my side 'Cause everytime we touch I feel this static And everytime we kiss I reach for the sky Can't you hear my heart beat so I can't let you go Want you in my life The wind was like a hurricane Storm clouds filled the sky I heard a crash of thunder The earth shook in reply A strange kind of magic Running through my brain Feel like I'm in heaven Or going insane 'Cause everytime we touch I get this feeling And everytime we kiss I swear I could fly Can't you hear my heart beat fast I want this to last Need you by my side 'Cause everytime we touch I feel this static And everytime we kiss I reach for the sky Can't you hear my heart beat so I can't let you go Want you in my life
