Busy busy busy! You are doing great. Crafter Sally is correct as to how to start and end your cross stitch thread. It makes the back of the project really nice and neat. I’m not sure that you will enjoy splitting that yarn. It will tangle unless you make it into short lengths. Good luck. I would just crochet it into what you want it to become. I’m sure you will do something nice. See if a later! Gayle

Yes, shorter thread is a must. Also, I just run my ending threads in under the backs of the cross stitch. They should be like little rows of l l l l l on the back. Just run your needle under them and it tucks the end right in. That dragon is definitely not beginner in any other way than just being all cross stitching. 😂 It’s gonna be beautiful, though. Love the wisteria. My mom loved wisteria too. Mom had planted some near our house, hoping it would grow there. It just grew a vine and never flowered. Dad got tired of it and uprooted it. Threw it into the woods by the house. It took root and grew up a tree with the most beautiful flowers! 😂 Thanks for the Penny update. She’s precious ❤

Howdy, Friend Heather! Thank you for sharing about your Mom loving wisteria. I planted a wisteria on the farm in PA... and just like your Mom's it took over 5 years to bloom! Late "BLOOMERS" indeed! I'm going to practice being neat... which may be hard for me... but I'm sure I can learn it before I start the new cross stitch project. I love the new Cross Stitch! Thought of the day: Please send Positive Vibes and Blessed Healing Prayers to those affected by the flooding caused by extreme weather in Valencia Spain. I did say the zipper would be great for a zippered pocket page. I've seen a few on KZbin but I'm not sure how they're done. Cross stitch is just not my thing, but I think you are doing a great job on the dragon!!! It really is coming along! Glad you got those directions that will help you!
