There was one wasted take before the one in which Dio nailed it - when he arrived for the recording session, he brought his own microphone, but the techs insisted on theirs, which his voice promptly blew up. Yeah, that happens, it's why I bring my own, he said, plugged his microphone, and recorded a perfect take. No song with Jack Black, Meatloaf and Dio in it can be anything but awesome, and apparently, Jack had mentioned in a talk show that he would like Meatloaf to play his father if a film of his life were ever made. Meatloaf's daughters heard the show and nagged him into taking the part, which (of course) he nailed completely.

Our boy really went to every other Hollywood after Dio told him "the City of Fallen Angels." Could have been so much simpler. They also have a "CLEAN Version" of the film soundtrack which is just as hysterical because it replaces all of the dirty words with regular words and It becomes totally absurd nonsense.

Maggie, I just heard a new to me Freddie Mercury solo called "Time Waits for No One". He sung it in 1984 but it was released in 2019 by Dave Clark the person who wrote the musical and wanted Mercury to be in it. He refused but did do a solo at Clark's request. This song is poignant, timely and gorgeous as well as words we all need to hear in these times. Would love to hear your opinion.

You really can not go wrong with Ronnie. We lost a genuine talent when he passed. Total legend!!!! You made a claim that you know her personal beliefs and implied that she was indoctrinated in an environment that believes sex and language are inherently bad. I provided a direct quote from her that implies the reluctance to say bad words on the channel is because, for the most part, she wants the channel to be family friendly. No, she doesn't show outrage. Or anger. She doesn't say the words are themselves bad. She doesn't tell viewers not to say them. She doesn't censor the words in the song. She smiles and enjoys it. Should go back and edit the other response with a /s? I felt calling the quote hard-line when it obviously wasn't wild have been enough.
