Watching people react to music from the 60s,70s,and early 80s makes me so fricken glad I was born in the mid 50s I got a chance to grow up with the best music time line ever. Which music nowadays can't hold a candle too.

One of my favorite groups. You should listen and react to their first album "America". One of the best first albums of any group. Mostly acoustic. Perfect.

I think "Do Op" is more 50s. Horse With No Name is awesome. As is Sister Golden Hair and Ventura Highway.

My brother who influenced my music in the very early 70's noticed I like Horse With No Name, so for Christmas in 1977 he gave me History: America's Greatest Hits. I recorded it on countless cassette tapes and wore them out or gave them to friends who fell in love with them.

this is the cleaned up pseudo shat the crops pushed on us to stop the effects of R&R on their profits. Yes we hippies with R&R cut into the major crops profits and they were doing everything they could to put a stop to it and they have done just that in that music today is shat. Never like their looks style or sound. Nothing but poor bubble gum. Bubble gum can be good but these three were not among them. Ya I am hard on these corps groups of the 70's and 80's b/c they allowed the crops to take our music and make it poor. Before about 1965 music was a small industry welling some 78's art first then some 45's. Then about 1965 the ling play came out the 33-1/3. This is when the ruling class took note b/c now there was some real money in the music business. U see they had machines that would make a 45 for u of what ever u wanted. This invention cut into the profits of record co so rich went over to the 33-1/2 b/c it could not be made as easy as a 45. Even in this business where it is a human voice being exploited the rich have got to have their cut at every step of the way and they do nothing what so ever to make the music better. In fact they do nothing but take their cut first and it is a big one right off the top as hey do with all thing and as they always have.
