Just for context, if you didn’t know, the beginning part where he is quoting “I was gonna go easy on you not to hurt your feelings… but if he’s as bananas as you say, we’re in trouble, big trouble.” Is actually based on something that happened on November 22nd, 1987. The background, clothing, and sunglasses Eminem is wearing is what the assailant was wearing during the broadcast interruption. Someone wearing a Max Headroom mask (a fictional British tv character), hacked two Chicago, Illinois TV stations during a live broadcast… I believe it was a Chicago Bears football game. The very beginning lyrics are what was said during one of the hacks that took place. The anonymous person that hacked the station, has never been caught.

Variety of factors one is of course not being a fan of the genre. Also as he mentions in the song underground scenes often have mixed feelings about the people who make it mainstream such as Eminem. As well as he mentions that he often has misogynistic lyrics in his songs which not everyone is a fan of.
@kimlend7680 Жыл бұрын
This is one of the biggest reasons why i love his style and respect him for over 20 years that I've known him. Even as a non-native, i still can follow and understand the majority of his supersonic. And also this is exactly why i don't like most of newer gens and i literally mean no offense or any kind of racism but most of black rappers as well. Because other than some actual few, they sing or "speak" in very distinct i don't wanna say accent but a way which makes harder for me to follow up and actually enjoy the song. I'm aware that in some places in the US, blacks have their own kind of cultural sort of "accent" which is totally fine. It's a bit harder to listen to for a nonnative but that is a language and a cultural thing which is perfectly fine. But the thing I'm talking about is just broken English and i don't enjoy it. After all what's the point if I'm not gonna listen and enjoy the lyrics when i listen to rap. Let's face it, it is not known for it's fantastic musicality or something like that. I have my classical for that purpose.
