Wow… I’ve watched THOUSANDS of reactions to FIR/Ronnie at this point. I’ve always LOVED both his voice AND the lyrics in the songs… And payed attention to every single detail, learning something new every time! Also through his twitch streams. They are a punk rock/post hard-core band and this is actually a remake of the song "the drug in me is you" which was faster and harder rock. And the vocals are different but amazing In the original also. More punkish and agressive.

Honestly Falling In Reverse was and has been a band that I'll always listen to. Started listening in middle school and a lot of their music has helped me through a lot. Ronnie has a voice that's touched a lot of people and transcended the genre. And, p.s. his last name is pronounced like rad-kee.

Knowing what 'the princess' in this video represents in terms of how life can sometimes conspire in wierd ways to teach valuable lessons.. it thrills me to see the symbolism of her complete destruction and how that creates the opportunity for a more cautiously informed future. When one door closes.. The original version was not something I would have been a huge fan of at the time. This remake is artistically stunning and very well composed. Knowing a bit about the personal backstory, the emotional investment, self-betrayal, and enlightened reinvention of himself makes all the difference. Phenomenal. I was equally shooketh! Gonna be an almost cringe inducing repeat of the entire David Draiman experience if Renee takes the plunge into the FiR past archives. Will have to set aside popcorn for when she accidentally uncovers the Corey Taylor cameo appearance!? Tread lightly. There is a very dark inspiration for what had transpired to make this reimagined version so incredibly powerful. Beautifully composed and performed.

After taking my own belated dive off the deep end of FiR inspiration, like a moth to a flame, I will definitely be tuning in to satisfy my curiosity to discover how this adventure evolves for you. The creativity of presentation and composition is so incredibly powerful in each of the tracks that they have recently reintroduced. Being a generation older than the whole emo era, this is not my musical genre of choice. Such a masterpiece of sorcery is impossible not to respect and admire.

Yeah, if he wrote a Broadway show, and performed in it I would totally go see it. Especially his "reimagined" series of songs would be worthy of a show with the level of production and drama within the concept.

What's amazing is that the original version of this song came out about 9 years ago, and the feel is totally different. Same lyrics. Watch " the drug in me is you" . You'll be shocked how different it is and see his progression. He did the same thing with "I'm not a vampire" and then the newly released "I'm not a vampire -revamped.". The revamped version is totally epic, same lyrics. I recommend watching the old version first, followed by the revamped version. Ronnie radke will be the modern day david Bowie. Highly talented musician

Since you enjoyed some symphonic metal earlier, you might like Epica as well. Some of their songs might be even more up your alley since it has more classical vocals then Nightwish's Ghost love score. You might like "Abyss of Time" or "Sancta Terra" (with or without a guest performance of Floor Jansen and a full blown symphonic orchestra)

great reaction! Loved your little jump scare ;) Beautiful song! so powerful and dark. That guy got some serious singing chops! A suggestion: Wintersun - Loneliness (winter) its beautiful, strong, epic and insanely emotional! The singer wrote the song after his father died, and it really shows in both the lyrics and the voice. I'm normally not the emotional type, but i cry like a child when i listen to that song.. (partly because i lost my father when i was just a kid) Anyways.. love your reactions! keep up the great work, and have a good one :)

Did you forget you did Falling In Reverse, I'm Not A Vampire Revamped last November. He got you in that one also. Lol. Great reaction to try another amazing song by Ronnie. His trilogy is more the rock style, but these piano versions are amazing. Same as the piano Rammstein version of Mein Herz Brennt.

You got to do the original of the song which is THE DRUG IN ME IS YOU which was put out in 2011. THE DRUG IN ME IS REIMAGINED was put out in 2020 for the fans its a complete reimagining of the former song... Same lyrics same music but.completely different...
