Michael, I saw you last night at the Palace. Talked with your Dad a bit. Was in front but you couldn’t see me. Anyway, I come from a family of Artists and I could literally feel your Passion and I more than appreciate your Talent. I will be Promoting the fuck outta you. Seriously. You’re a hometown Boy. Gots to show love. #CLE. Keep rocking babe. Ps, I want your purple paisley pants.

Maggot Brain is not about shredding it's about the space between the notes and amazing feel. Loads of guitarists nowadays can play these solos just like guitarists who do Hendrix covers but this is just yet another competent guitarist who feels the need to showboat all over a great song. Contrary to the comment below Eddie would not be impressed, he was all about soul, feel and groove not overplaying for the sake of it.

Maggot brain è un'emozione che va dritta al cuore con ogni singola nota, non certo questa ostentazione tecnica ed esibizionista che nemmeno gli si avvicina.
