This actually happened to a friend of mine. When he was around 17 (He’s 18 now) He had bought some Chick-Fil-A (or something with chicken idk) and had put them in their trunk because he had too much stuff in his car. (He put them in his back trunk because he didn’t have a front trunk, or a “frunk”) He left it in their for around a week and a half because he had decided to go to his room, and lie down, falling asleep, and leaving it. He only opened it up because he needed to put some stuff in there, and noticed it. There were maggots all over everything; his girlfriend’s old purse, his work equipment, and several boxes. He called his 2 coworkers, and sprayed a bunch of poison on it. He left the car there for “overnight”, left it for 2 days, and finally opened it back up. He cleaned the trunk, and threw away. As he was trying to discover how the fly got in the trunk, his trunk has a small opening near where the trunk closes. Love from Mississippi!

maggots r the larvae of flies. seeing how its old food, small flies must have gotten inside and layed their eggs. the eggs then hatch into maggots edit for 10:00: most trash bags r scented that way the trash wont smell as bad. i’d say u’d have to not take the trash out for at least a month or two before flies lay maggots
