He's by far my favorite. I just get the vibe of a young man turning adult, being pushed into growing up faster than ever before by a series of events he can't control but must deal with. He's cool, got the talent to match with the blades but not the experience, naive but dependable. Absolutely loved Twilight Princess. It's my favorite Zelda game. I replayed the last fight with Ganondorf more times than I could count. It was such an awesome fight and IMO the best Link v.s. Ganondorf fight there is. Not cause it was super hard, but it was man to man, blade to blade. Final showdown. 😎

You got to relive the OOT fight with puppet zelda, then you get to have one last bit with the wolf form, followed by probably one of the most badass segments in Zelda where she ACTUALLY HELPS YOU DURING THE FIGHT, then you get that sick 1 on 1 where you get to use all those sword skills.

The botw boss fight was so underwhelming to me, instead of something cool like hyrule castle blowing up and you using the paraglider to sail on the explosions updraft between flying rubble to get angles on Gannon, you just essentially fight the 4 blight gannons at one time then run around a field and shoot big targets while lasers completely miss you! The second half of that fight was a joke

Bosses don't generally need to be challenging. They just need to be intense, and a milestone in your adventure. Like Dark Beast Ganon from Breath of The Wild for example. He wasn't difficult to beat at all, he's just there as a last stand, and a final statement as to how far he will go to destroy the soul of the hero.

Something I never really understood. In Ganondorf’s final moments after he’s lost the Triforce of power, I never really understood why, when Zant snaps his neck, Ganon loses his vision. That obviously symbolizes something but it’s always bothered me because I’ve never really figured out what picture that is supposed to paint for the player.

Do you honestly think I don't know what a neck crack does to a person? I'm not an idiot. Zant was destroyed in the Palace of Twilight. So when Link took out Ganondorf, we see a vision of Zant cracking his neck, and in that instant, Ganondorf goes blind. Zant is dead. Ganondorf's only power was the Triforce when he was first banished to Twilight, but when he was worshipped as a god of the Twilight Realm, it's as if he gained the additional power of being worshipped by Zant. It's a pretty well-known aspect of fictional gods in literature that they gain more power with faith from their followers. You could say the Triforce of Power a sort of conduit of power that gives a power-wielding attribute to those who possess its mark on their hand, thus giving Ganondorf access to gaining power through being worshipped. Thinking back on it now, it seems clear that this symbolizes Ganondorf's loss of his remaining power after the Triforce fades. His one follower is dead, and the neck crack must be symbolic of the death of any faith or belief in Ganondorf as a god, and since the Triforce seemingly abandoned him, he lost everything else. Maybe that's why he'd gone back to being blind as he died, he is no longer a demigod. Maybe that's what the symbolism of it is supposed to represent.

What makes this link and for me the hero of the sky too are how badass thy are they genuinely feel like young guys turning into men through their gurney Wich is in a way out of their control and they both have a badass final one too one fight with a cool ass villain. Botw Link is very stoic a bit too stoic even when he wakes from his slumber and has no reason to hide his emotions it feels like his stoic nature and almost depressed state of mind stuck with him. l hope he gets a lot more expressive in botw2.

Great gameplay regardless, but I've never seen so many miscues in a DBG battle lol Not calling myself an elitist by any regards(because I know I'm not one), but this battle is honestly one of the easier Ganon battles of the LoZ series...only difficult part is the portal portion of the fight where he teleports randomly around the room, and you have to toss him in Wolf Form once he appears and charges you head-on.... That portion of the fight is dictated SOLELY by RNGesus, for he hath shown no mercy, as shown via the portals' random location spawns in no specific pattern at all
