What a joy to see Steppenwolf live. Magnificent Canadian group. I think the first Hard Rock album I heard when I was 15, their album "The Second" is a true rock classic of all time with tremendous pieces like "faster than the speed of life", Don't Step on the grass Sam", 28 (magnificent piano on this one), the incredible "Magic Carpet Ride" and the last 4 pieces of this album since "Disappointment number". And to finish this great band Steppenwolf, "Born to be wild" I think is the first where they mention the term "Heavy Metal"

* *Check RON HURST* * at the drums. He's one *big dude* ...lol. The guy's literally looming over his drumset. On stage, John Kay once said, "Ladies and gentlemen, the abmassador of everything *LARGE,* our drummer, Ron Hurst."

The band is taking it easy here. In 1983 they played S.? Hells Angels were in the front row and the Wolf played 10 ten times harder.
@lesschoenberger30702 жыл бұрын
Yeah but they were a LOT younger in 1983!

This is the sort of music you get when you value *merit* over diversity and inclusion.
@SirGregg Жыл бұрын
In 2023 diversity and inclusion have had their meanings changed to everyone thinking the same way and abolishment of offensive language.

This is very good in Wisconsin. Not my favorite Steppenwolf tune because of sexist implications but the jam is so sweet nothing to do but go with it. Rock on.
