I've seen the comments about the sound effects. I would like to apologize for the volume discrepancy between the video and sound effects. This has been corrected for future videos to come. But the video is still a banger ‼️ Part 2 of the series is releasing tomorrow 4/3/24

Man you a good guy. That's why I just hit the subscribe button. I'm in Biloxi Ms. Born and ra I see here. Bird was always my favorite growing up. And when I joined the Army in 1987 I was stationed at Fort Dix New Jersey. Me and two of my buddies was lucky enough to go see a game in the Boston Garden. I will never forget when I left the game I had a tear in my eye. He had 34 points 12 rebounds 8 ast 3 blocks and 2 steals. It still to this day all these years later puts a smile on my face. He was truly unbelievable.

Another thing I like about Bird is he gives no excuses. When talking about the NCAA Championship game, he never mentioned or complained about the double team. He took all the blame saying he didn't play well.

He was like that throughout his entire career. Never any excuses....never blaming anyone!

Bird owned up to everything like a man should! You can't do anything but admire and respect his humility.

A perfect example from his professional career is the missed shot in the finals against the Lakers. Most people do not know that Larry was playing with a broken hand from a bar fight the night before. This has been recounted by many other people, but I have NEVER heard Larry say it when discussing that game. Larry does not offer excuses. If he didn't get the job done, he didn't get the job done.

What gets overlooked a lot is that Indiana State University were and are a 3rd Division College in Basketball circles. They never went to the NCAA tournament before Bird or After Bird (let alone the final game) . To even be in the finals was literally THE greatest feat in U.S. Basketball History. Michigan State on the Other hand were and often still are one of the main Powerhouses in College Basketball. This is Like one of the Mid Ranked College Football Teams taking on the Chiefs or the 49ers . Its always treated as tho the 2 teams were equal when they so so werent. Hence why MSU could but 4 players on Bird and ignore the rest

However, I don’t think *anyone* can truly dislike Magic (except total bigots, of course) - he’s such a smiling, sunny personality aside from his undeniable basketball talents.
