I think the limit on tuition reimbursement is a tax issue… I used to work for AT&T and we could only get $5250 per year without getting taxed for the additional amount. It took me twice as long to finish a degree, but I didn’t care because the cost was covered.

If they create a system like Universal’s express pass, I would wait to see how well it worked and see how the stand by lines would be. I have found going to Disney in January, after the holidays, I could just do stand by lines and get on all the attractions that I wanted and not spend the extra money. Great video!!

It would be amazing if this could become a DVC perk as Erica had mentioned on the show. It will be interesting to see how the whole shakes out but I agree with Deni they should have just gone from Genie to this if it is in fact a possibility…why put everyone through all of this in between?? As far as whether or not I would purchase…as a DVC member I would love it as a perk, however if on my Magic Kingdom days Deluxe resort quests could purchase at a substantially discounted rate I would consider it. As a family of family it is a big commitment but probably worthy the out put….

Completely agree Deni! Disney seems to be very reactive rather than proactive the past couple years. Indicative of poorly performing leadership and inadequate training.

When we went to Disneyland Paris we bought the Premier Access option. It worked really well❤🎉 It was on most rides and stood line at most for about 5-10 minutes. Would not be something I would purchase at home of course, but good for vacation. 😀

Whether it's LL or standby, it's still a line where your wasting time and can't enjoy the park. Only way to fix it is to have boarding groups or limit the amount of people in the park. Scan everyone who rides all the major rides so everyone gets to ride once. Otherwise it's just going to be the same 60min standby bc u didn't pay. Then people don't get to ride all the rides they want and get disappointment at spending all the money to go there.

Honestly though the sad part is, it probably comes down to the money. they can't sell their VIP tours at what 1k an hour with the lightning lanes being full since they use the same line. 10k a tour for the day with lets say 10 tours at a park easily a 100k a day. so now they will charge more to make up for the volume they are losing to shorten the LL and sell more VIP tours. I'd spend 100-200 a day though at a park to guarantee that I get to ride everything and not wait in lines. That's a small amount overall if you consider it like 5k a week in cost for me to go to Disney

I have been begging for this. While I don’t think it will be a deluxe resort freebie, I do think it should be offered at a discount. There are too many resorts. My suggestion would be to offer tiered discounts based on resort type. Example 25 or 30% for deluxe, 15 or 20% for moderate and 10% for value. I also would be okay with grouped ride passes like Paris or Tokyo. Fingers crossed this rumor is true. I really don’t like planning my park days in advance. I want to walk up and get on a ride or have a chance at a lower standby wait time.

If this rumor ends up being true, I wonder how DAS would be impacted. Would Disney follow the protocol that Universal does or would they continue the status quo? I personally do not qualify, but I know plenty of people that did not qualify, either, and lied and/or exaggerated in order to get the DAS pass for their families. (The new rules have somewhat reduced that.) A premium pass would be so expensive that I think, unfortunately, more people would be tempted to rehearse the answers to the current health questions so that they would get “free” premium passes.

They will continue clamping down on DAS until even those that qualify don’t bother applying for it anymore is my guess.

I hope so.... there should be an expensive version where u get to basically just walk on every ride once per day per park. I figure 100 - 200 per ticket.

I believe there is a way (someone smarter then me) can figure out a way for disney to charge more money and people get a value for that. By having less people pay more then it would be less people actually clogging up the fast lane. Hence the standby line would move faster. Right now so many people buy the fast pass, it slows up the standby. I just think there is a way to make it work better for most people and make disney more $.

Hey gals! It would be an interesting thing. If Disney included this with either deluxe or AP, I’d consider it. Otherwise, it would depend on price. I could see Disney doing that at $100 a pop. As I like to say, “that Mouse likes his money.”

I would love to see Lightning Lane be included for Deluxe resort guests the way unlimited express is included for a few of Universal’s resorts- however there would have to be some sort of cap, because Universal only gives this access to 3 hotels. Disney has so many more deluxe resorts than 3 so giving all of those guests complimentary express passes would exacerbate the issue of having too many people in the Lightning Lane

But it isn´t just a rumor they already had implemented the symbol shortly before but took it fast away and having the logo already so it isn´t just a rumor it would be not bad it is more for global Fans that would and want to do it even when it is kinda sad that they want and have to charge us additionally like that. What makes the question is that even legal for what we all paying for Tickets that should provide to been able to ride the rides but than they want to make us paying up to even been able to ride the rides when that´s should be already with paying the Tickets. When they see the Tickets Price as just a admission to being in the Parks than something is strange and wrong with their thinking since non other Themeparks or Amusement Parks on the other hands some are as problematic as Disney as well with wait lines. Yeah Parks like my Hometown Park the or one of the oldest Amusement Parks in the World they charging individual prices since they are different owners of those Rides and DLP Paris has their System as well were you have to pay for each ride or so strangely but they have the PAU Premier Access Ultimate so WDW can try to do that with their LL PP (that is in the works). I guess at least around in the mix of DLP PAU and Universal Express Prices that LL Premier Pass could come around but I agree it shouldn´t be to expensive either but not to cheap as well since don´t forget as cheaper at it would be as more would use it and that´s not a solution for those different lines than if too many would be able to use it. But this System would help no matter what since people would go individual and use it so hard to say how the lines would than be. At least it would bring more magic for Vacations there back when you just can plan your Day and progress it without those stresses and easier booking your Lunch/Dinner breaks without fearing to messing up with return times like with Genie+ or LL MP.

I personally wouldn’t buy it, even though I don’t go often at all. But I do hope they implement something like that, and I kinda hope they over price it, to make it more of a deluxe option. However, I suspect they’d either match or go slightly cheaper than Universal

Universal gives that unlimited pass to every guest in a premium room. You can book the capaacity of the room and the price doesn't go up. There are plenty of people with access to express pass at any given time. Disney would never do that. I think she quickly lost track of what the word "boutique" means. Universal fans will also wait 70 minutes for Hagrids without balking. Its worth that wait. Not as delicate a customer base.

They will never make it a deluxe resort perk because there are too many deluxe resorts, unlike Universal, where there are only three resorts that qualify for the express pass.
