আমার ভীষণ ভীষণ প্রিয় গায়িকা।আমি অনেক সৌভাগ্যবশত অনেক বড়ো বড়ো ক্লযাসিকাল গায়ক গায়িকার গান সামনে বসে শুনেছি।শুধুমাত্র এনার গানইসামনেবসে শোনার সুযোগ হয়নি।পরভিন সুলতানার গান,ওস্তাদ বড়ে গোলাম আলী সাহেব,অজয় চক্রবর্তী, আরও আরও অনেকের গান সামনাসামনি শোবার সুযোগ হয়েছিল। কিন্তু এনারটা হয়নি দুর্ভাগাবশত।অসাধারণ সব গান।অনেক ধন্যবাদ।

Perhaps in all the records we get a rare mood because all were legends in their respective fields viz. Sagiruddin Khan Saheb on sarengi ,Keraamatullah Khansaheb on tabla and in some records Gyan babu on harmonium...unless one is used listening music of such legends might think why so much sarengi playing or so much tabla playing which is sheer lack of knowledge.It was a real hard task of HMV and two legendary persons Sri Gyan Prakash Ghosh and Sri Robi Guha Majumder who did a great job of putting all the greats together...Thanks for uploading this....it's lifetime opportunity for any music lover....

Yes you are right Mr. G. Chakrovorty. These songs I used to listen when I was quite young. But I have never heard her live. But one of those God gifted man who listened Ustad Bare Gulam Ali Khan. I am also very found of Gazals. Every evening I listen gazals of Gulam Ali, Jagjit Sing & others.I even met Jagjit ji at Mumbai( that time it was called Bombay)in 1994. Met Chitra di also. You must be knowing that she is a bengai lady. There are many stories of mumbai at my pocket. Lately last jan I met Javed Akhtar. If we meet any time I will tell you. Acctually my daughter working in Mumbai film industry. Thanks to Saregama. Bye.
