Stamets' Psilocybin Mushrooms of the World is 27 yrs old now. How I wish this guy would write a book about this same topic. I cant even think of all the newly described psilocybin mushrooms & his photos would be worth buying one for the coffee table.

I love collecting mushrooms for identification. I would totally send some in with all the specifics if I knew how and where. How to prepare the samples and where to send them and find the test results afterwards. I grew up in Olympia but live in northeastern Washington now and the mushroom diversity is different along with the climate and habitat. I’m trying to learn what I have in “my own backyard” so your videos have been a big help. Thanks.

I found tons of panaeolus cinctilus in my yard this year. I found several flushes where there were many mushrooms with 2 and a half to three inch caps I don’t eat them, but I love finding them it feels lucky.

I used to live in central Florida and had a couple fields that weren’t pillaged to the point of being fruitless.I used to find so many cubensis I didn’t know what to do with all of them. God, I miss those days..

Yeah that’s the one I find in Germany easily too. I‘ve tried many Cubensis Strains, Cyanescens too but I like libs the most. They are the only ones that make me feel really energetic and they are super potent!

I didn't realize that was coming through, lol! There was a guy that had delicious hot nuts at the event. Everybody wanted his nuts. I held out all weekend but I finally gave in and had to get my hands on his nuts, and they were better than I expected. His name is Dee. His stand is called Dees nuts. So salty and warm. I'll never forget those nuts.

There are some things you should keep to yourself.. wild mushroom populations are on such a decline around the world from over harvesting. Yes medicine grows All around us but we don't need all the regulatory bodies and foragers who don't understand reciprocity and ethical foraging going after them

Às a person that grew up in the woods, works in the woods, raises their family in the woods, I completely agree. I get so tired of people that just don't belong in the woods raping our resources. Most are those from the city or those out for profit, when I was a kid, that's how kids made money

Propagation/Propaganda I don't think content creators have any control over ads...all I'm getting is real estate propaganda

Creators have no say in what ads play. Often times the tailor the ad experience to the viewer. Perhaps they think you want to see those ads?

Strange brew, I can try my Pluteus saupei X Pan cyan that look like Psilocybe allenii from the top of the cap view. I was able to find them withg my hand at dusk, with the crooked stipes growing sideways ..a sideways Mottl-ennii on a Pluteus stipe. Dried black like Pan cyans, I have enough for several teas and breeding. Feel like a jerk, making tea out of unique fungi, someone has to answer "what are they like." Accidentally dosed myself through the second layer of cracked skin on my thumb, not an open wound. I looked like Hamilton Morris on Amazonian frog Bufotenin-filled skin lesions.
