My name is Bre. I took two years of small engine repair at the local college. When I left school, I fell into a wonderful job at a local small engine shop where I worked the counter for a couple years. In 2010 my husband and I opened up our own small engine shop in central Arkansas where I am able to work alongside my family and best friends. We saw over 2,000 pieces of small engine equipment every year, and answer 1,000's of small engine questions. We specialize in brands such as Briggs and Stratton, Kohler, Echo and Shindaiwa, but work everyday on MANY other brands like Stihl, Husqvarna, Honda, Craftsman, Remington, Red Max, Troy Bilt, Scag, Bad Boy, Hustler, World Lawn, Poulan, Mantis, Etc.. Hopefully, my experience I share, will save you Time, Money and Frustration in the future!

My psoriasis and skin tags went away completely and, yes, I was losing weight on Carnivore as well. I fell of the wagon for a few months (sugar addiction is a real thing - just sayin) and everything went back to where it was before - or worse. I just recently (2 weeks?) went back to Carnivore and I can already see the benefits returning.

Funny story about castor oil, I married a woman with kids, they would run out side and play the dead of winter without coats hats and gloves, because they could not find them. Days later they were not feeling well, a spoon full of castor oil not only cure the ailment but also restored their memory of lost winter gear. Great stuff, I also learned this lesson when I was young.

Oh God! Castor Oil was a yearly event at our house, but we lived in the deep south. I hated it, but my Daddy would half an orange and give one half to me and one half to my sister. He actually warmed the oil up by placing the bottle in a sauce pan with water andeasier place the sauce pan over low heat for about five-ten minutes. THAT didn't make it taste any better, but it did go down smoother. The we got the orange halves and all was forgiven.

We had 2 small brown medicine bottles that looked the same when I was growing up. The bottles had a rod going into them, I don't know if they were glass or plastic. I remember crying because I didn't want my mother to put it on my cut or scrape because one burned really bad, but the other one didn't. She would always say that this is the one that doesn't hurt, and I would reluctantly let her put it on. I don't remember if it was the mercurochrome that burned or the other one. I don't even know the name of the other med. Even if it wasn't the medicine that burned that hard rod touching that cut or scrape hurt, too. Did you have those same little bottles? God bless you!

The funding for development and production has to come from somewhere. If you're just saying you believe the costs should be funded by taxpayers that's one thing. If you think that the actual costs of a medication can't "cost a person $7,000.00", then you're just a victim of magical thinking. From a recent study: Results: The FDA approved 355 new drugs and biologics over the study period. Research and development expenditures were available for 63 (18%) products, developed by 47 different companies. After accounting for the costs of failed trials, the median capitalized research and development investment to bring a new drug to market was estimated at $985.3 million (95% CI, $683.6 million-$1228.9 million), and the mean investment was estimated at $1335.9 million (95% CI, $1042.5 million-$1637.5 million) in the base case analysis.

Well, there are a whole host of brand new medicines out there that are really making a difference. Most are monoclonal antibodies (drugs whose name ends in MAB) which have taken and will continue to take a lot of research to develop. Not saying that $7000 isn't excessive but these meds are really phenomenal. AND the $7000 is what is billed. Insurance, patient assistance programs and other allowances whittle down the cost to the patient. ALWAYS check the patient assistance programs for any expensive drug you are prescribed.

It didn’t help… I bought him a Yeti water bottle and told him to drink water regularly all day long. I also bought him a bottle of Coco Butter lotion. Within weeks his skin had improved dramatically and he felt better overall. He’d been chronically dehydrated… water and coco butter fixed those problems. Today his skin looks fine. My parents (in their 60's & 70's) both grew up using Castor oil. Thru the years they've used it for numerous purposes. Thankful your spot is gone & it was an easy fix seems like.

Ten years ago I was prescribed Humara. It put me in the hospital for 13 days. It did not cure my skin. My hands were so bad I bled on everything. I quit all drinks with Aspartame, such as diet sodas and Christal Light. Within a few months, my skin was totally clear and has remained that way ever since.

Castor Oil dont know about how good it is for medical issues, but it is great for 2 stroke engines. My dad use to add just a bit to his lawnboy (2 stroke mower) oil, that mower was in great shape for over 45 years. It was used a lot. He also in some other engines.

My dad, who lived in England, used to get stuff from a woman known only as Betty - a third-generation herbologist. He swore by her stuff, from a 'general tonic' to something he rubbed onto his knees for joint pain. If I lived in England, I'd have her do my healthcare. :) I think you're amazing, and ... well, "amazing" kinda says it all, really. :)

Thanks for sharing something so personal with your subscribers. I'm 73 and lived with psoriasis for several years before it just went away one day, and I would have given anything for someone to share a holistic option like castor oil. Everything prescribed for me had such horrific side effects that the cure was worse than the disease, not to mention the embarassment of being seen in public. I can sympathize with what your grandmother went through. Keep the small engine stuff coming, and don’t be bashful about sharing things that can possibly benefit your fellow man. God bless!
