I think Apex has three issues: 1. Zipper is really bad and no one expect paying 99 and DIY before perform. 2. The open and close window function is unnecesarry. (If the audience think or feel you’re peeking, they wont believe you read mind but they just dont know “how”) 3. Need to remove credit cards to properly use the switch function. (If you have "Quiver", you know it doesn't work well with two solid card glue on either side) I think this wallet is smart, but it's too "clever" and not good as EDC. I think for mentalist, Orphic still better than Apex. (peek, switch + spaces), for magician, maybe the zipper would be an advantage with card to wallet.

Thank you, I have this on order from Vanishing inc (an amazing dealer), watched the tutorial, and had no problem with the sound. I think the instructions point out you can use any slide and leave it in the wallet. I like the idea of loading a card and bringing the wallet out where it can be shown empty before having it appear. Interested to see the peek, though I think it may be a bit of overthinking!. But I think this will tick all my magical needs and EDC (till the next must-have)

I’ve been waiting to hear something substantial. I’ve heard about the peek activation gimmick ‘breaking’ and other parts of the wallet not working right, but it’s all just rumor. I haven’t seen one up close nor do I know someone who has one…yet. Figured I’d hold off on this one and just utilize my Orphic+ and Quiver+ utility items to do what I need done until I learned more. Still not sure if this is for me or not, yet…but this review certainly brought me closer to making that determination and puts it in a more positive light than what I’ve gotten through the grapevine. It sounds like it provides decent instruction and example performances, but it is a shame that no microphones were used. Thanks again for doing this one. Strange how little there is on it out there at this moment.

as son of a shoemaker I dare to say that crazy horse leather is one of the best kinds of leather in the world (full grain). So that's a big plus. Looks like a nice wallet, but I have the FPS (Brown also crazy horse, love it) and an Orphic..The FPS is mij EDC, I like the moneyclip, still use cash. But I like you reviews, always follow it, thanks.

I do think you need to be very careful with both the quiver feature and the peek - they both feel very fragile to me

Mine has fell apart. Peek wouldn't work when wallet was full. So removed peek system and replaced with business cards. Enjoyed using it more and was getting a better peek. Then the mouth of wallet broke open. I have glued it countless times as have made and sold wallets in past It's trying to do everything and too small to do it. Gone back to my saw . I've had 2 saws only because the dog ripped the first one apart. Alakazam were kind enough to send out a replacement at a discount

Very informative review, thanks! I'm also a wallet junkie and have multiple gimmicked and regular versions in my collection. For some reason, this one jsut doesn't feel right to me. Too big for a minimalist, too small to need a zipper and that gaping Quiver section that doesn't appear to be as reliable as a Quiver (where you can have a spectator open it). So a pass from me, but an informed pass thanks to a great review.
