Hi David, one question, in the trailer shots, there were at least two different decks, different performances, (a blue and red deck) used in the trailer; Can the magician use the gimmick on their own deck, or are we limited to the cards provided? Thanks

Hello David, I have a question. Can the fourteen cards needed for this effect be placed on a normal deck (sans the duplicate cards) and be produced from a normal or rigged tuck case? Next question - If this is done for close up could someone see like plastic reflections or wires??

Any lighting limitations? Do they teach any packet switch?

If there's a very bright light shining on the cards, that would be a problem, but other than that, you're good. And they don't teach a packet switch

Accurate review. I got it recently. I’m still practising it. Slowly getting the hang of it, I think, but I’ll need to keep working on it until I’m comfortable performing in front of an audience.

I am not sure if this would blow their minds. It would look more like a skill. I have seen a person who can balance weird shapes and stones. He had some sort of autism. My mind wasn’t blown. I knew it was a skill (which it actually was, because it was a lay person and was done “impromptu”. Joshua Jay’s Balance may get better reactions because balancing these objects isn’t something people normally do, unlike building card castles

I think Balance has the spectator wondering how that was done from the 1st balance. On Edge builds in an "I can do that." fashion until the surprise.

@@artderfall the problem is that even after the surprise, the spectator still thinks that, with some practice, they could do that. The whole card castle thing feels less magical (probably because it is less organic). Generally speaking, balancing stuff isn’t the most “magical effect”. It feels more like a skill. Almost similar to juggling 🤹‍♂️

Am i the only one who just doesnt see the hype with this trick... Like, its a balancing trick. Ok? There has been loads of balancing tricks out that use cards before this. None in a house of cards i dont think but they use cards in some level. And to a laymen.. The thought is probably just, oh its a cool skill... I dont know. I just dont get this trick.

IT is brilliant if you have the right application. Leviosa is damn near perfect. It…pardon the pun, suits this as well because you have an excuse to go slow and careful.
