Daniel Madison has some very very good deck switches for free on his channel I totally recommend them all

Brutal. For these kinds of changes, I think a regular shell, the DIY Blizzard gimmick or Cold Case are most practical. I don't do switch magic... but if I did, I would just program a single card effect, pocket the deck, and take out the switch when finished. Cold Case is the most versatile IMO.

I'm always on the lookout for a better deck switch device. THANK YOU for saving me $50 (due to the constraints mentioned). I've tried Chuck Leech's deck shell, Cold Case, Fantasio card case and The Cooler. All have different pros and cons. So far, the Deck Shell works best for me, but lots of practice required for smooth handling.

50 shades of no way. Best method to switch a deck, learn how to switch a deck without gimmick. I like also Cold Case by Gregory Wilson and Murphys Magic, specially for the 10 great routines included. Long life to Magic Orthodoxy 🇫🇷.

Given all the limitations and poor quality/practicality, I don’t understand why Murphys wanted to put their name on this. Cold deck switch by Greg Wilson and Shawn Farqhar’s jacket deck switches are my personal favourites.

I will put the gimmick deck in my pocket real casually and when the time comes I’ll pull out a normal deck that was in same pocket. I’ve done it so many times I’ve become quite good at remembering exactly which is the regular deck.

I don't understand why they just didn't use a gimmicked sharpie or even just the lid. I saw this a while back. I didn't buy this because there was no info on it, glad I didn't sounds way to expensive and over complicated for what it is. If I wanted to do something like this I'd probably use a shell like route and make it myself. Still holding out out for a decent gimmick that switches decks. I may just have to buy that download you mentioned a while back that does table AND in the hands DS's. But I can't remember who does that.

Sounds like they have invented/engineered a solution to a problem which doesn’t exist. The best deck switch is a pocket switch and some misdirection.

I don't see why you would need anything except the deck shell to do this; why add IT and a "sharpie holder"? Create some misdirection while you reach over and pick up the shell and put it on the deck. Hell, I'm so good at distracting my audiences I bet I could do the switch and pick up the switched in deck and put it on the correct side without being noticed. Of course if you really want to do a "Pro" deck switch with no gimmicks go to Daniel Madison's KZbin channel and check out his tutorial. There is a fun video of him frying a room full of magicians with his deck switch.
