I have been tubing for ten years and love it. I used the topomatic crank style and it's the best manual one,and I can use that thing blindfolded" literally" so I tried an electric machine 4 or 5 years ago and the cigarette cherry would fall out about half way threw, no matter how tight the compaction was set or the cut and style of tobacco it would just fall off. And the ciggarettes looked perfect. I traded in and have always stuck with the manual. I can roll a pack of 20 in 3 to 4 minutes, and have had my original topomatic for 10 years, regularly cleaning and oil maintenance and it will last. I am thinking of getting an electric anyway but want to get the best one, appreciated your video bud.

Hey there, I purchased a chrome Top-O-Matic Cigarette Roller *7 YEARS AGO* because of your comment. I still use that very same machine to this day! With a little maintenance, light lubrication every year, and a replacement rubber tip for $0.32c, it has rolled at least ~382,500 cigarettes (pack-a-day smoker)! One of my best buys ever. Thanks, man, I would honestly recommend the Top-O-Matic to everyone! I left a comment 7 years ago specifying that this video is displaying a machine that has an augur style filler and not a crank injector filler, which is the reason you were having your cherry fall out. The augur shreds the tobacco in the process of filling the tube which has 2 effects: shredding the tobacco and over-compaction. I hate augur rollers.

speed isnt always the most important thing...quality is key...these auger type injectors always have a problem with the cherry falling off....you have to file down the end of the auger to make it blunt....it wont shred your tobacco any more and then your ciggs will hold up better

auger machines just dont pack cigs very well, ive tried 2 different kinds and the injector types are the best, with the auger made cigs you must put them filter end down when putting them into a case ore otherwise when you pull one out half the tobacco will fall out, if you accidentally cough with one in your mouth you will blow ever thing out right onto the floor,

Thought i would try this out using this same machine. £11.65 for a pouch of tobacco, got 28 cigarettes out of the pouch using tubes and the machine. Hardly worth the hassle tbh when a pack of ciggs cost £9.50. I was hoping for at least 40, that would have made if more viable.

You should have showed the cigs up close to show how well the machine packed the tobacco into the tube and if if packed it all the way into the filter.

make sure you buy one with speed control(not sure if its any better), I have this same exact machine, but it does not have speed-control, and it spins so fast, that it chops your tobacco too fine, which in turn makes the cherry fall off all the time, each cigarette I roll must be relit about 5-8 times.

This is an auger fed machine got this 1 and the cherry kept falling off so I switched to the zen spoon fed and that machine only lasted a few packs and started messing up so unless your gonna spend big money on a real spoon fed machine id go to the top omatic hand crank machine

+Matthew yes and no. youd have to use ALOT more than a decent sized blunt. I say no because ive tried it and i dont like smoking bud through a filter like cigs. Its do able but all up to preference. But *spliffs* are awesome with these types of machines

My answer is no. I've tried it and like the comment above you need a decent sized amount of bud, almost a gram and it needs to be broken up and dried correctly or else it will boat. Roll a blunt it burns much longer than a joint/spliff anywho

Joe Mason Yes there is, and I was one of them that got one. It suxs big time. Was made in china, and I already took it apart twice to clean it cause the dam power button gets stuck and wont shut off, and the control for packing is already broken. So yes BE AWARE like he said.

the auger is the spiral thing that pushes the tobacco...filing down the tip will help, but cherries will still fall off

It is called z-6094 try look for it on internet. Look if it is available to find in your country. I live in country where almost nobody knows about RYO (roll your own) cigarettes. So there are not many rollers available.

This isn't a rolling machine in a true sense, it is more like a stuffing machine, a true rolling machine would roll its own sleeve or tube as well from a cigrette rolling paper leafs. But quite intersting, I will probably try make one at home, can't be that difficult to attach a spiral spring and which pushes the tobacco nto the sleeve. Good one for stealing the idea, I might make hundreds and flog them cheaper than made in China.

....you have to show more than that ....,you drone on and on early in your vid, but your overall presentation really sucks...I want to see if the cigarette that is finished has tobacco all of the way to the end, AND if it is ready to be smoked right out of the machine....so, show how much the end product is filled and tamped and repay to light up....

These auger-type machines typically have an issue of grinding up the tobacco too much which causes cherries to drop.

Your lucky, I got one of those cheap fucking knock off ones from ebay. Had it for a little over a year now and I've already taken it apart twice to clean it cause the dam power button get stuck then doesn't want to shut off. It doesn't have a speed control neither. Does have the 1-5 to control how tight it packs it, but thats broken too, so I use my old wireless mouse USB adapter under the little black bar there to make it tight. Has china written all over it from the inside out, Where I got it from said it was made in the USA....yeah ok, maybe the cardboard box it came in was. It also doesn't pack cigarettes worth a shit as I lose my cherry about three times per cigarette, I dont even bother smoking in my car anymore. So yeah if y'all buy this make sure its not a knock off, this guys machine looks just like mine, but seems to be so much better
