@Ninja Named Bob Ok, I can agree on Ancestral Recall, Lotus and pure Dual Lands. Those are broken(well...Duals are nice, but they're prolly OP in current meta - Volcanic Island and co). But why not reprint some other powerful, but less broken cards? I mean they do it, but not often enough imo.

it's true, what am i doing, if I don't play esper control, use white-bordered as much as possible, flick my cards endlessly, and tap my lands by tilting them exactly 45 degrees? not enough, that's what.

If I was to brew it: I'd follow the green mould, but instead of using lord buffs, I'd stay on theme by make use of the red 'whenever a creature attacks, burn' enchantments and colour-less/red-white 'attacking creatures you control can't take damage effects'. Outside of boring turn 3 match ups, that formula works quite well, especially with genesis_chamber and something like Brave the sands to keep you protected. Indestructible lands and mass land animation would also be cool variant, though less elvey.

I'd run burning tree emissary, manamorphose, and maybe wild cantor to cast stuff like bloodbraid elf, grand warlord radha, and Radha heir to keld off of just mountains. Then you can kinda say it's monored in some weird sense, and still have a bunch of elves. The plan for winning is idiot beats, much like real elves

I wanted to say thanks to you. I tried out MTG at my locals years back, they were not friendly and the way they taught me to play was wrong and or maybe they just didn't bother to explain anything. I grew to hate mtg. Now I watch your channel and learned that it's actually a fun thing. And try it out again and find it really fun. Now if only I can find someone who plays just pre-cons. This pretty much sums up exactly why I don't play competitive anything. I'm perfectly happy just sitting over here building a legacy deck in Table Top Simulator that may never actually see any real use, unless I can convince some of my other friends who have TTS to put in the time and effort to sift through thousands of cards for the ones they're looking when they have busy lives. Magic The Gathering. A game I sure wish was more accessible to people without money who want to use all the cool older cards that Arena has none of.
