There’s a part of a touhou oficial manga that says, a human from the human valley had turn into a Youkai. From the shrine maiden eyes looks like the worse sin that a human can make. Imagine that Maribel had turn into a youkai somehow and had turn into the new Yakumo for the Yakumo family. Maribel knowing her new powers to escape from reality of the earth and go to gensokyo or were lunarians are now. Offering Renko to go with her and have amaizing adventures that no human has lived to have it
