▶ Pouring Medium formula: My paints are mixed with a pouring medium using Floetrol/Owatrol (1:3 Paint: Pouring Medium) with just a dash of water to make it slightly more fluid.
▶ Color Palette:
Amsterdam: Lamp Black (Base)
Amsterdam: Olive Green Light, Permanent Green Deep, Olive Green Deep
Pebeo: Iridescent Precious Gold, Crome Green Hue, Iridescent Green Yellow.
Liquitex: Hookers Green
Winsor & Newton: Pale Olive
▶ Hair dryer: Remington D3010 and always use the cool setting

Wow Mark, what a gorgeous result this is!!! I was already very excited when I saw all the greens💚🍀 plus the gold in your cups. Definitely one of my favourite colour palettes. When you were tilting, you had me so focused that I forgot how hot it is here and my body even stopped sweating for a moment😂. Mark -- I LOVE THIS PIECE!!! All the detail is amazing and the colors are gorgeous. I don't usually work with a green palette but I certainly would use this one. I've seen the Northern Lights in Alaska and they are amazing --- just as your painting is.

Are you using frog tape too? It is so good isn’t it. Clean lines but not too sticky. Perfect. I would love to see this exact kind of thing with a variety of colours. I’ve just experimented with blues in a similar way for a sea scape. If you fancy a collab, I would be honoured ❤🎨

This is stunning! Is floetrol/owatrol Australian floetrol? I’m in the U.S. and we have a different kind of floetrol.

Thank you. The Owatrol I use is like the US version of Floetrol (it’s the same type of paint conditioner). The Australian Floetrol is totally different to the US Floetrol and UK Owatrol
