I think this was right after Chicken Shed Performed so it was probably something to do with the mood of the whole setting. From a big giant performance into a quiet intimate moment was probably it. Thats probably why the judges (execpt Alesha) were underwhelmed.

I've come to learn that this show isn't about who has the greatest skills or talent; it's just about entertainment. The judges do not always appreciate real talent, and they also sometimes seem completely ignorant to how difficult some acts are to do.

@@dylanyoung4938 they did a special “BGT: the greatest magician” …I believe all the usual judges were the same except Penn was sitting in Simon’s seat. There’s 10 total performances by the best of the best (within the got talent universe) and the winner is obvious, but I won’t spoil it for you. Watch it if you never have, it’s wonderful to see Penn judge with full knowledge & respect for what they’re doing. One act in particular, he launches out of his seat so fast to applaud the guy.

He was the best magician this season, even though his act can be a little slow at times. The end part of the trick was really good tho. At this point, I just want the producers to take away the judges' buzzers after the auditions bc they always buzz in the middle of the performance, without giving the person a chance. Buzzing isn't gonna make the act better smh.

I've seen tons of videos of this show, you can tell that if this guy was telling a sad story or one of his family member was passed away or, something wrong had happened to him before. The judges would say aww you are so talented and the tears start to fall and booom golden buzzer for this performance. So unfair, Amanda absolutely didn't have any clues about what was going on there on the stage. Give your damn rez buzz at the end and let him finish his performance, Simon had \ done the same mistake in some other shows and pressed the red buzz and got regrated right after the end of the show. At this point, you are not even supporting a talent and creating a superstar but also you are destroying a person's confidence.

Don‘t agree. As a magician myself I can say that it‘s bot the showmanship that he is missing. Shin Lim has a very different style of magic. While he is silent and performs to music, Kimoon speaks and does Jokes. It was definitely not a lack of showmanship. It was a lack of the Judges talent recognition

Remember years ago when we used to see what made the judges put acts through to the SF - now we just get them right away. So they begs the question why do the judges send acts through to the live shows who they then buzz - are there not better acts that weren’t picked then?
