Magical Mirai 2020 - My ONLINE Experience (+AR live 'Miku with you')

I am back, sorry for the wait! 2020 sure was awful, after I attended Magical Mirai every year since 2014 I was not able to be there. I still wanted to publish one of my usual "event reports". So here you go! This makes for a probably even more interesting video than usual: We still have a look at the Expo and I even show my reaction to some of the concert. A bonus in the end is a section about the AR live "Miku with you" and a prediction for Miku in 2021. Enjoy! Until next time for the actual review! :-)

It may take a long time between videos but it's not a problem. It's actually better like that because it won't be good if you force yourself to make a video just to have something for KZbin if there is nothing you actually want to talk about. Your videos are great because you're always sincere passionate about it and it's worth the wait. It was an awful year but it wasn't all bad. Concerts still happened even if just online, and the Vocaloid scene (at least from my experience) seems to grow at nice pace with many new great songs released very frequently and new producers starting recently. A few of my favorite small producers started to grow and get a bigger audience so it was great to see. Also Hatsune Miku NT is starting to get some use and it will probably have some influence on Miku's future if some big producers start using it. I was already hopeful about Miku's future but seeing you being positive about it made me even more hopeful. I can't wait to see what they will do for Magical Mirai 2021. I also can't to see the online Miku Expo. Since they received so much money they have the potential to make something great. And it's great to see they really want the fans to be involved with it by making a costume contest, a song contest, letting 3 of the backers choose a song… btw I love your plush collection. I got my first Miku plush this year but now I want more. I'll never get as many as you however, I don't even have enough space for that many. I wasn't expecting to write that much when I started to write this comment, seeing you say a lot of things also made me want to say a lot of things.

I know this is a late comment but my one dream in life is to go to Japan to see Magical Mirai live. even at 25 (but it will never happen now) You don't know how lucky you are to have had the opportunity to go to see it EVERY year until 2019, you are the luckiest man in the world, anyway fantastic content as usual, i look forward to more from you in the future 😊

So happy to see you back my friend :) You can always get the plushies you missed on sites like eBay, but I'd advise against it since re-sellers might try to sell em for a ridiculous amount with this event being for the Japanese only. I hope 2021 will be the end of this pandemic! While it sucks now, we'll come out of the other side stronger. Take care and as always have a nice Miku day :)

I import the magical mirai blurays to the US every year as well. If shipping location is set here, the store page lists it as out of stock. So I can't preorder it either which is just annoying. Though I imagine it'll become available at some before release.

This online Magical Mirai was actually my first, and hopefully I'll get to see the real thing some day. Magical Mirai itself will have to wait another year while I get more financially stable.
