I am also happy to know you my dear Gabi, without you it would be harder here. I see some fans were daily here and then suddenly left. So sad. I realized I was in Cologne but earlier, in 2005 and Barry was there in 2011. But there is a hope he will return to Germany to sing for his fans.

Magical Spiel was the first single I bought with my pocket money January 1970. I was then 12 years old and walked into Dewsbury to buy the `45 from `Thornes` record store. I still have this wonderful 7" 45 record in my collection along with `The Hunt` and `Love Is Love`. I was enthralled (And still am to this day) when listening to this magnificent singer. Barry, thank you so much for the great music and memories of that time.

Odile Actually it's you that's wrong about the Majority. I'm proud to say I was one of Candy Choir and had just left them a couple of weeks b4 this. I'm not so proud to say I was the one playing the horrendously out of tune guitar in the middle section, but Paul liked it.Rest assured it was Candy Choir on the record as well as on TOTP.

Sort of remember these twins when I was ten, but like some groups and singers they didn’t “sail my ship”. Had I been a ten year old girl, however, it would have been a different tale!...When Barry belted out “Eloise”, I was thirteen and paying more attention to music. Even today I occasionally sift through the oldies and becoming more appreciative towards these guys and wonder how they didn’t reach their full potential around those wonder ous late sixties

I was one of Candy Choir, on (very out of tune in mid section) guitar Eddie Wheeler was lead guitar - fabulous - but he left to join Vanity Fair. Dave Brien, bass, left us to join the Les Humphreys Singers in Germany, which left Danny Beckett. I don't know what he's doing now. I left in '74 and heard nothing from them since, I'm afraid
