OMG, Cure La Mer had soooo many scallops so I totally feel you on never wanting to see one again!! Hahaha. I love hearing everyone makes their cosplays, and i love how every precure cosplay in the world has to include random satins, sparkes, and horsehair braid 😂

How much fabric did your cosplay take? I want to do a Cure Prism cosplay but I’m stuck on how much of each color to buy

Oooo good question! About 4m of white fabric, mostly because the skirts are circle skirts and it takes up a lot of fabric!! This also accounts for the bodice, and the bows and bow tails. 🥰 1m of stretch knit for the gloves, 0.5m of the dark navy, 1m of the hot pink (had to cut on the bias which is why I got 1m), 0.5m of light blue, and 1m of the light yellow (again, had to cut on the bias!).I think those are all the colours/fabric types 🥰🩷🫶 if I missed anything feel free to ask!!! 🥰🩷🫶

How did you make the scalloped bias binding for the scalloped edge layer?

@@neptunestar7397 I made a paper pattern of the scallops and then traced it onto the fabric on the bias! I did that twice, so I had two matching scalloped pieces. I interfaced one of them. Then I sewed them right sides facing each other and turned it inside out 🫶🥰 I gave it a good press and attached it to the hem of the skirt 🩷🫶
