This is quite better than everything Yates did on HP.

Yeah. Yates' approach in depicting magic leaned to Boring yet Practical territory just as Peter Jackson with Lord of The Ring and The Hobbits film, though the latter was obviously deliberate due to distaste towards magic which portrayed like this.
